You do take yourself and this place way too seriously. It really nags at you the way I pretty much discounted the way you go about developing applications, so much so you had to create a web-site to vent. In the end, we had a disagreement about how to technically carry something out. Like many, you get emotionally attached to your code and your sense of self-worth is inextricably bound to it. I guess my advice is to get over it...
