I kept them as a client even though I moved away because I had been doing work for them for many years and I didn't want to drop them and leave them out in the cold ... but it's maintenance on an old FPW app and they hardly ever need me to make any modifications. I think 20 hours of billable work every 3 or 4 months is not enough to live on!! <g>

Bonnie;

As Hugh knows (we were neighbors in Campbell) I know how to "keep moving"! :)

I work in Fremont at NUMMI (Toyota and General Motors). We have 80 developers and we keep the production line running as well as other software chores like business applications (my area). We just had a celebration at lunchtime for producing 10 million Toyotas in the North America. We were the first Japanese automobile manufacturing plant in the United States and we produced 1/3 of the total.

Steve Young was a guest speaker and for the first time in my life I stood in line for an autograph. As luck would have it I forgot my camera. We had channels 4 and 5 at the event. We had some Raider fans in the audience but they "pretended" to be 49er fans! :)
