I like a good healthy debate - it has the potential for clearing the air. But, I believe that all too often we all bring our own set of baggage to the table. It strikes me that as long as one is willing to live by the same set of 'rules' (basic civility I suppose) that a lot can be learned.

True enough. Some of your critics have been (IMO) unfair with respect to the personal remarks. I've been pretty tough on you but I'd never want you to think that I was so as a result of personal venom.
