Ok.. Let's go over this one more time... <s>

The chapter and verses you find in the entire Bible, with the possible exception of the 119th Psalm did not begin life with those chapters and verses. They were added in later to assist with memorization. So, for you to copy and paste as you say you did is essentially the same as taking a sentence or sentence fragment out of a letter or other written work like a song and placing itself as though it existed by itself. You're taking the verse potentially entirely out of its context, and that is fundamentally dishonest. If you want to get the gist of any specific Bible verse I'd recommend you start by following what folks call the "20 20 rule". The prior 20 and following 20 verses should be considered when thinking about any given verse, for the reasons given above.

Let me give you an example:

1) Speaking of Judas in Matthew 27:5, "And he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and departed, and went and hanged himself."

2) Luke 10:37 "... Go, and do thou likewise. "

But you are quite correct in one thing. You are not quite sure how you twisted those phrases.
