>>In your opinion, what is an open mind?
>Someone who listens I suppose but who is not afraid to look at things from someone else's pov.
Well, guess what? I can see your point of view. I've been able to see your point of veiw since I've been very young; since I questioned my own existence. Your point of veiw is simple and boring. Sceince presents a sexier, more complete and complex, and even, mind bogglingly, simpler point of view than your own.
I can see both of our points of view. Can you rigid belief system do the same? I highly doubt it.
>Well, you presume that the above are indeed proven. I can cite you many many proofs that they are not. As a matter of fact I've been doing just that for some time now if I recall.
Not proven, but they are questioned to the same level that it is questioned as to whether or not the Earth orbits the Sun. Meanwhile, your solution leads me to ask:
What created God.
Which leaves me EXACTLY where I started. Sorry, Doug, but your theory is dissappointly dull and over all, cyclic.
>>If I have an open mind, and you have a closed mind, wouldn't it by defintion be impossible for you to truly recognize a open mind?
...
>Define truth - and how you know it to be true.
PLease explain where you are going or answer the question. I cannot tell whether you are misleading the jury or presuming facts not in evidence.
