I don't know why anybody would think MS would endorse/sanction a powered by VFP logo anyway. To do so would send a message that is counter to what MS wants. Specifically, if you are going to write a web service, MS wants it powered by .NET. The same goes for just about any other application.

FWIW, you could probably do it on your own and claim fair use on the trademarked name and logo. In the end, I don't know what it will do or what others are trying to accomplish with this initiative..
