What I think is happening here (and George Tasker probably can explain more definitively), is that we are tapping into the same DLL Windows uses to End Tasks when you either hit Ctrl-Alt-Del to get the complete task list (Win95) or when you tell Win95 to shut down your computer.

Being developers who have "solved" some of the intricacies of DLLs and how Win95 does some of its tasks, we should use this knowledge wisely and responsibility. In this thread, where Eric (original creator of this thread) wants to know how to shut down Groupwise and all its associated Windows, I would at least alert the user what is about to happen and give them the opportunity to cancel the option.
