>First I'm not a SQL guy so this may be a foolish question. I'm writing a new program that will connect to an existing SQL 7 server. The server is supporting over 100 SPs. I'll be adding a new database and about 20 tables. I'd like to use SPs but it occured to me that adding more SPs to the system is really asking a lot from a server. What would be a good rule to follow regarding SPs? How can I figure out if my SPs will be to much for the server. The hardware is a dual something with plenty of ram and scsi drives. Any help or information would be great. TIA
