Michel,

The most incredible thing about all this (it seems surrealistic to me) is that all effort you are doing is to help make FoxPro well known, to help Microsoft make a bit more money with its sales and make VFP developers recover their self esteem (sic) and be happy.

When folks ask here in UT why VFP has no good marketing, is not known, people avoid to use it, there is no reference in some MS web sites (other countries), magazines etc etc etc (a very recurring issue), there comes all those replies trying to explain the unexplicable, that Ken Levy just joined MS, that lots of things are on the way, that already is a VFP 7, Toledo is comming blah blah blah... But why the picture doesn't changes???

>As for the overview, what we did was considered a re-branding by MS legal. So, when being told after that, by phone, from a head from the Fox team, we removed it. We didn't have the availability at that time to query as to know if that was a valid affirmation or not.

>Later on, we put it back without the text. That part of the logo is ok as is.

>As to know if we will query about it to know more from a legal advisor on that rebranding affirmation, yes, this is presently under way. Our lawyers are awaiting some info from legal advisors in Ottawa about that in regards to such situation and similar ones we have faced, are facing and will continue to face as our product is evolving. We are doing a lot of artwork, and as this issue was raised one, as part of our quality control, is it to our advantage to collect the related info about it
