Hi All:

I have a form based on a remote view to SQL Server. The entire form is working well except for a "memo" style field which will hold notes. On SQL Server, I've tried Varchar and Text data types for the column in question. The datatype defined in the view is "M" for memo. The field in the view is marked as updateable. Yet when I run the form the edit box displays the word "Memo" and when I type in the edit box, nothing changes (as if the control were read only, but it's not).

Would there any special handling for this data type that I need to know about? Maybe I've forgotten something simple.
