Might be you are not that wrong with that GoFast option ;)

I also stumbled over such weird speed behaviour. Move once the mouse, while you fetch the data with your remote view or press the Shift or Control key. If this speeds up the receiving process to the speed of the SPT you have the same problem that I have on some PC's here.

Unfortunately I can't say what is the reason for this, but it seems to be either a Windows setting or a hardware issue, because I don't see it on other boxes with identical installations and settings in the same network.

This behaviour was discussed here earlier but afaik there is not yet a solution found. So, if anyone knows how to solve it, I'd be glad to hear about too.
