>Also it isn't fair to keep asking this very same thing to Ken, again and again. He doesn't deserve to carry this burden alone, IMO.

Perhaps he does. And if (that would surprised me a lot) he does'nt then the others responsible should identify themselves.

Until now no one else besides Ken answered those questions. So I think we can assume that he is the only person responsible on that topic.

But then again remember that Ken works for MS. When was the last time we had a clear and precise answer from MS regarding VFP? Oh yeah sure they tell us they're working on VFP 8 but many questions are unanswered. To me that thing about the "Powered by VFP logo" is the most stupid thing I've seen in a long time. I really can't see how and why legal department would be involved in this. To me all the right steps appeared to have been followed. It's not like they were told "Look at that logo we're going to use it wether you like it or not". Permissions were asked. MS was supposed to make a logo. What's wrong here?

One thing is clear in my mind. MS will continue to support VFP as long as the ESTABLISHED developer base continues to buy it. So the message has to be strong to the VFP community. "If you like VFP then buy it".

And the user base is scared regularly so the the community has to lose members so we only have to hope that the VFP community willl still be big enough for a long time to justify development of new versions of VFP.
