You understand correctly. In order to work around it, I had to add an unused page footer at the bottom of all reports. The problem is that the page footer is also on every other page, not just the first page. That looses precious space when doing special forms...

>If I'm understanding the situation right, what you're saying is that when you print on the dot matrix, the paper is physically scrolled down about an 1" on the first page and you want the report writer to honor that. Unfortunately, the report writer doesn't know that the paper is not sitting at the top of the page .. it can only ASSUME that it is. It has to treat each and every page as if it starts at the top.
