Hello all,
I've been doing business apps with Foxpro since Fox-DOS, usually as a side tool, sometimes as a main tool. My learning pace dropped off around when Visual was released, tho I currently use v 6.0 and take (limited) advantage of the product's object orientation. At this time Fox is my main development tool.
Knowing that I'm significantly behind current developments, I'm wondering what others would recommend as the most cost-effective thing to do in the short run to move closer to state of the art (as an independent, conference time and travel = money). I see a few things out there at the moment:
--devcon conference
--great lakes conference
--books (Heinkenwerke(?))
--training videos

Any input appreciated, folks.
