What a crock, John!!! There is a HUGE difference between "most accessible tool to learn" and "some flavour of SQL Server". You confuse learning with need.

ACCESS is no doubt useful for limited list-type "applications" in small office environments. I know that there are other apps out there that 'exploit' ACCESS, but the general case is that they are a rarity (for instance I know that Pagis software uses .MDBs for its indexing features and it sure looks like they "solved" the limited size issue by "allowing" multiple different index files to be managed).

You make no room at all for VFP. Shame on you. You are not out to show a limited future for VFP, you are out to kill it. Fortunately for us your power in this regard is highly limited.

You don't really "tell it like it is" but rather you "tell it the way you want it to be". Why you want things the way you do is a mystery only you *may* know.

cheers
