>To clarify, I am and will continue to promote VFP as best as possible, and there will be more happening around DevCon and when we release the upcoming Visual FoxPro 8.0 which is a very exciting product. Those few people who have seen VFP 8.0 are pretty amazed, and these are people who have seen VFP evolve since before VFP 3.0. The Steve Ballmer video talking about VFP 7.0 was extremely helpful to both my efforts as well as many VFP developers world wide (as I have been told many times). I asked Steve Ballmer to do this video and he agreed with enthusiasm, or he probably wouldn't have done it.

But we will promote the usage of VS .NET with VFP since they work very well together and target MSDN Subscriptions to obtain these great developer tools.
