When I was a kid I would look at the Dow Jones report and followed Lionel – the toy train company. Each year at about Christmas time Lionel stock would be worth 12 ½ points and by June, 6 points. At age 10 I thought I could make money by buying stock in June and selling in December. I guess I had the right idea but no money. :)

It may not be a good idea to invest in things you love or like but toy trains are interesting!
