Marketing and sinking are two different things...

>How can you say that this is based on speculation and rumor. To me it's a fact that lack of new versions on a development tool makes it less powerful than new development tools. Do you really think that there are many new projects beings developed with FoxBase instead of VFP?

What lack of new versions? Since I started working with FoxPro (2.6 windows - 1994), I participated in the beta of VFP3 and went to the DevCon in San Diego where they released it. They have since 1995 released VFP 5.0, VFP 6.0, VFP 7.0, and are writing VFP 8.0.

>As a developer what do you prefer to do. Support old applications where you can't touch the most recent cool things or learn a new development tools where there is no restrictions?

I have never been restricted... I have been using the latest versions of VFP and other tools as well. And BTW, VFP is not the be-all-end-all... there are some pretty "cool things" out there in other languages.
