I've already tested and judged firewalls myself and for the govt a year ago. Some have improved in some areas and fallen behind in others. There are pros and cons to all. Some take up too much control and memory and create a 'lag' and others are fast but do little. Everyone has their preference, but I chose Black Ice for home use and Checkpoint for work. They are all pretty comparable actually (with some exceptions).
