All I am saying is that the product continues to evolve and new versions continue to be developed. I have never heard anything from a Microsoft employee that said 'we are not interested in moving forward with VFP'. And the fact that it continues to be developed seems to me to indicate that Microsoft is not interested in discontinuing it.

What do you mean I "MUST be kidding here...."? The fact that there are still companies using FPDOS? Or the fact that there will continue to be work with VFP for years to come? It is an absolute fact that there will be work with this product (and any future versions) for years to come. If VFP8 is released in 2003 (and I have no idea if that is the plan), the realistic lifespan of development with that product should be around 2-5 years. If my math is correct, you will see development of applications with this product til 2008. And that's *IF* VFP8 is the last version.

Show me where this is said?
