Hello Chris!

First, I went through all the way that you mentioned in your thread.
You neednot install VFP on the WEB server, it is enough to run a normal VFP program that you made to the web purpose. This program is necessary to be registered on that machine as OLE server. To make an OLE server is very simple, it is a normal program builded as OLE server. To register it on a machine other than that bulded it, you have to use the regsvr.exe program shipped with VFP.
A good example is the foxisapi example that comes with VFP.
BUT THE ORIGINAL DLL IS BAD, SO DOWNLOAD THE NEW VERSION FROM MS KB!
It worked me at once, while the original gave me many frustrating hours!
I suggest you, that install for yourself a WIN NT4.0 (a workstation is enough), because all MS example use Window Personal Web Server, which is shipped with NT.
I suggest you 2 articles, which give background. From these I made an internet modul to our existing FP dos 2.6 program. Of course with VFP.
Q158838 How to Setup FOXISAPI sample on Windows NT4.0
Q158839 Updated readme.txt file for FoxIsapi Sample for Visual Foxpro.

A suggestion: After these you will see a working WEB+VFP solution on NT Personal WEB server. Use MS Internet Explorer during the experiences.
As I concluded MS Personal WEB server is not the one which is suitable for wide groups of Web users because other Web brosers doesnot support anonym logging to NT. Therefore web surfers have to logging in at every time reaching your home page. But because it is for free, and our purpose was to create a web order page intead of faxorders for known partners, the logging was necessary therefore we accept it.

Happy new year!
