Tony,

The 02/29/2000 date is NOT a problem in any version of FoxPro. In version prior to 5.0 there was no way to get FoxPro to see 02/29/00 as anything but 1900 in its internal date vaidation for the data type, so it won't let you fix the year in the controls valid because Fox checks the data type before the valid fires. Therefore any UDF that is called from teh valid of a date control to allow two digit years to be adjusted for 2000+ will fail on the date 02/29/00 because 02/29/1900 was not a valid date.

BTW, there is a solution to this problem (two digit years for fox 2.x) that is going to be published in FoxPro Advisor I think in March 1998. The author (Christof Lange) has said he intends to place this solution in the public domain after the article is published. Therefore I would guess that there will be a very small market for anyone who tries to sell a solution to this. I mean free is a hard price to beat.

VFP 5.0 has the SET CENTURY TO nnnn ROLLOVER nn command to solve this issue.
