I used NetLib in the past as well. AFAIK, they are no longer enhancing their product. I ran into the same problems as you on some of their functions under Win2K and had to finally abandon the use of NetLib. I do remember a Netware SDK and ActiveX control and I fiddled with it for a while but never got it to work. THis has been a couple of years so maybe they have improved it. I downloaded somewhere off their web site.

>I am looking for a way to check for whether a valid novell password has been entered. I am currently using a product called Netlib, which is a library which you load under vfp. There is only one function I am currently using, and that is one which allows you to enter a user name and password, and it returns whether or not the password is valid. This works fine under Windows98 but I cannot find a similar product or approach which will work with Windows2000 clients.

>Neil Weicher
>Author, NetLib
>NetLib is a Registered Trademark of Communication Horizons.
>I am checking to see if an update is available but as I recall this was a rather pricy product for the one function I am using.
