No, its more than a simple ASP code, it has so many new features that you always wanted while using ASP. UT postings are gr8 source to enhance ur skills but to start with it better you learn from web.
Is it a newer version of ASP or IIS ? Does it have a GUI developer environment, or do you still just code in a text editor? it is a enhanced and powerful version of ASP and yeah you can call it new because there are few things which are now not supported in ASP.net to cope with .net CLR.
you have the worlds most amazing GUI available i. e. VS.net, u really cant ask more than that, however you cud also code in text editor.
