>>>One thing I'd like to ask you, as you tried both, is about the menus, that are created as classes in MM, which makes it easy to show them or not depending on the user's priviledges. And it is really nice to be able to let the user localize the captions, as I will have a system that is going to be used in Brazil and France. I think I could make the menu pads disabled in CM, but could I get rid of them ?<<

>Hmmmm.... I have not really done a lot with Menu's yet in CodeMine. Perhaps Gary Wynne will jump in here and answer the above for you as he would know better than me.

>>>read all the discussion is going on here about moving to .NET or something else because Fox is dead. Well, I don't mind it, really. I think VFP will still survive some more years<<

>Yes, doesn't bother me in the least either. I remember when Fox was bought by Microsoft that many people thought it would be dead within a couple years - and that was a decade ago.

This is just a comment from somebody who is really pleased with Codemine. I spent literally years trying to do an automatic migration of an FPDos 2.6 app to VFP and was stuck until I found CM. I am constantly amazed of all it does yet runs so fast. The only explanation I find is that the framework routines are small, though complex, and stay in the CPU cache.
