And that is true. This control is built using C++ and FoxAPI, exactly as VFPCOM. But instead of working with ADO recordset this control works directly with underlying OLEDB rowset. This excludes unnesessary data converting from native data type to ADO variant and from ADO variant to VFP data type. The typical speed difference is about 2-3 times. Not too much, but this control has some other advantages. For example, it compatible with VFP7. As you know, VFPCOM version for VFP7 is not working and now removed from MS web site.
