Yes Brad had a solution for this as well. He's very active on Compuserve's VFOX forum, I was just talking to him there today.

Christof's solution is very elegant and requires minimal changes to existing code. It supports entry into date fields directly with two digit years and doesn't have any problem with 02/29/00, it makes that 02/29/2000. It will be published I believe in March and will become PD after that.
