I wanted to put the following expression in the columnwidths property for a combobox:

len(errsrt.csortname), 0
or
nwidth1, 0

but vfp keeps resetting it back to: 0, 0

Is this by design? Am I missing something? How can I dynamically set the column width = to the length of the my field?

BTW - I am setting the second column to zero width, because I don't want to show it - but I want it to be bound to the value property - this is the only way I could get it to do this. I guess that would be the standard way to accomplish that?
