>or just a few hours after that originally went in place, it was restored as is.

Thats not true. The "recover last session" which I used 95% of the time previouslly is no where to be found. FOr some bizzare reason you took value away from the product that already existed.

>Well, if you can justify why we should accept obscenities in the messages area, then, go for it.

I believe the burden of proof lies on you to justify why you think I cannot express myself in certain respects.

>If that little message icon bothers you, we'll make a checkbox in the account setup to turn it off.

I've already specified in my account to not show graphics all over.

>This has always worked in IE and NS 6 since we have implemented it. If you use an older browser, than it may not be supported.

It was never really implemented correctly, IMO, or at least consitently with every other tree view model. Take OE for example. When you view all the threads, they are all collapsed, but when you expand a thread, every subthread gets expanded at the same time. With UT, you have to expand every single subthread in a thread. Or how about when you view an entire thread? How can you click "view entire thread" and show just the first message? That doesn't really make much sense from a usability stand point.

>Columns? If there is one more that have been added, it's the forum column.

No, thats not what I'm talking about. Example, I want to see, read, and remove my replies. So, I click on the replies button, where are my replies? They are nine lines down the frame. I go past alot of uninteresting things to get what I'm actually interested in. What do I see when I get there? I see the thread number and message number in the first two columns? What good are they going to do me. I see the first and last name fields split up. What the Use Case for that is I have no clue. In any case, of about 1000 bytes of data, I'll I'm interested in is the 10 bytes that make up the message link I need. When I read that message, I have to click back, and then click the message I want to remove, then click the remove button, and THEN confirm that I want to click the remove button. This is bizzare.

>Standardization, as we did, allows to benefit of the same list approach everywhere now, provides filtering and ordering in each of them, with more represented icons - such as requested in TT -, and provides more features.

But makes the main overall goal of reading a reply less direct.

>You seem to come up with the idea, whenever you visit our site, that we should be perfect. This is not the case nor will you find that elsewhere.

I totally agree. Which is why in my reply to you, I said it was not such a big deal that the bug existed. I know how it goes. Totally on the same page.

I'm just concerned about the trend the UT is on, in respect to making the product less usable. I bring it up as often as I have time for. Since I've started makeing my opinion public, nothing has affected the trend. It continues to this day, and probably will, even after this thread.
