Hi Ricky,
After several days of frustration, I gave up trying to use ISE VFP7 because there is no easy provision for upgrading applications. In the words of the great computer guru "There is ALWAYS one more bug" hence my need (and most others) for a way to seemlessly upgrade applications.

I found the simpliest solution was to use Inno Setup which is basically freeware/shareware and can be found easily by searching the 'net. Inno is faster at preparing applications for distribution than ISE VFP7 by a factor of 5 and being a script, you can easily change it to meet most situations. It's not GUI and may not be a Microsoft product, but it gets the job done simply and fast with minimal learning curve.

Hope this helps...Rex
