Paul,

I gave you an example that is included in a number of my applications, and there are no complains so far. So, I am not quite sure but try to add the section collapse before appending a new document, like:

.ActiveDocument.Content.Collapse()

Also it may help if you send files to me (or just samples that do not work for you), so I could play and figure out what could be the difference in "my" documents, and yours.

>Yuri,
>Your suggestion to use oWord.Selection.InsertFile(ANOTHER_DOC_FILE) sounded right on, but to my surprise, the Courier New that was used in ANOTHER_DOC_FILE was transformed to Times New Roman when I inserted it into my existing document! Currently, I do have oWord.options.smartcutpaste = .f. because I read that that does do some interfering with your pasting operation, but yet word insists on changing my font. Any further ideas? I'm about exhausted at this one.
