Thanks, Bill. I've been trying to find a message without success about a VFP COM dll. The upshot of the message, as I recall, was that _access and _assign events weren't firing. What brings me to this is (at least back in 6.0) they don't fire if they're hidden. They work fine in a DLL if not hidden.
