I have a client using RH 7.1, the HP printer is a 4000N. Every 31 days (checked for the past six months) the printer stops working. It has a local IP 192.168.1.221 and nothing we do will restart the printing. A Local printer on LP0 will continue to work (so LP is running). There are no LOCKs for the printer and the printer will self test. If we reboot everything comes back and works for 31 days. There are no cron jobs (other than backup). I can ping the address and I'm able to send a text string to the printer. HELP! I have not even a clue what to do next.
