dear JVP
>>IAC, I am not the one who made personal and professional threats.
But, I can be big enough to say I am sorry when somebody takes something
far beyond the spirit with which it was intended. Too bad others cannot be as big.
IAC, given the recent events, I don't think I will be hearing much more from the peanut gallery.<<
Are you are *still* trying to rationalise the obscene ad hominam remarks you made last week?
If you thought you'd "driven me away" by making obscene jokes, be assured I was not offended by your poor behaviour, to be honest I was amazed, I thought you were too smart to do something so very silly. Apparently not.
If I were you I'd leave it, there is no possible excuse, every time it gets brought up *by anybody*, people are appalled all over again by your disgraceful behaviour. Any time you try to cry foul because somebody said something mean about you, somebody "in the peanut gallery" will remind you of your own extremely poor behaviour.
That you thought it was a "joke" looks just as bad, FWIW.
Regards
JR
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us."
