It is designed to be this way. It is security. However, with Win98 clients, it is a hetereogenous network.

>I recently installed a windows 2000 as a Domain controller and I named Interabs as a name then I connected two other server as a child domain as a database server and a print server I did not have any problem till I connect through a windows 98 as a client the problem is as follow
>if I put on windows 98 the workgroup name as interabs I can see the whole network howerver if I put any other name then I cannot browse the network
>the strange thing I can ping without any problem the only thing I cannot browse the netwrok if the name of the workgroup is different name
