As I discussed previously, in several other posts here, I was having trouble with connection busy errors, and with amount of time it was taking to download all the data in a remote view. In my testing, for some reason, using spt greatly speeds up the data retrieval - see thread #
683953 , so I converted my view to an spt cursor. Existing code attempts to requery it. Upon requery I get the error 'function not supported for spt cursors'.
In this case, for this application, actually I can get away with not requerying it - but I'd like to know if there is a way to. (I guess it's just as simple as re-executing the query)
I seem to recall a post on here about someone who had implemented a class that allowed for it - but I can't find the post now.
TIA
