It was recommended to me to acquire the dSalvage utility tool specifically to address corrupted memo fields. It works sometimes when FoxFix fails to fix such things. But also, sometimes you can fix it simply by creating a new table with the same exact structure (COPY STRUCTURE ... WITH CDX) and then appending all records into new table. You want to do this after PACKing because when you append from like that it brings in the deleted records as if they're not deleted.
