Hi fellow Codemine'rs! I'm glad to see a thread on CM here. I've really only been in email touch with Dave. So far, I've done the tutorials and built a small app. But I've been tryingly waiting for the latest Docs. Though he has almost all of the help file finished, I've been really frustrated that I can't print a hard copy of the codemine70.chm file. But that's due to a MS bug where when printing "all topics and sub-topics" option in a .chm file, in every paragraph or more, words are dropped off of the right margin. So, Dave is working furiously from what I understand to finish the docs and get a hard copy printed. I've asked him to send me a Word doc if at all possible. BTW, I can't understand how the MS .chm help display print option can be buggy since these help files are used by thousands of programs and vendors. I know Dave uses West Wind help builder. Maybe something about the templates he's using or something, I don't know...

I've looked at other frameworks too, though I haven't spent much time with them. Basically, just tried the tutorials and a few things on my own. What impressed me most about Codemine, is that it seems to work flawlessly and works much the way I want it to work. And it's a "lean" machine. The size of the .app it creates is smaller (by a lot! in some cases) than the other frameworks. Albiet, the other frameworks may have more features, but then the complexity is more than I want.

Anyway, keep posting any info on CM.!
