In fact, Delphi has so many native controls that it needs to use page tabs to separate them!
I was suggesting that M$ go the other way: incorporate VFP's functionality into it's .NET family of languages. That way they would give us incentive to switch, rather than switching because we "have to". The new .NET community would also benefit greatly from it.
>Don't forget gui drag and drop web page design; transparently manage cookies, sessions, and user management; native soap web services support; WSDL as standard for building interface to services in BizSnap, UDDI browser support; royalty free datasnap licenses for middle-tier development; Delphi for .NET compiler for building .NET applications in the Delphi language using the .NET framework, as well as other features. Delphi has many features for n-tier development and web application development that VFP lacks. My ideal tool would be Delphi benefits added to VFP!
