Pete,

Ju8st to voice the opposing point of view. I find quoteing pieces of a previous message helpfull, but quoting the entire thread wehn I have all those messages right her one mouse click away is a pain. This is really true for some us who are actively giving support to others and we are trying to get to the new information. Scrolling down through pages and pages of stuff that I've already read is a royal pain.

I often will drop participation in a thread because it has just goteen too time consumming to scroll through all the old stuff to get to the new stuff. I spend probably one to two hours a day on average in here and don't want to spend any more time just because the entire thread is quoted in every message in the thread.

Just another point of view.
