FPD interacted with MS SQL Server through a "Connectivity Kit" which was purchased separately. Besides needing this additional software you will run into the problem that FPD uses a 16-bit ODBC driver and current versions of MS SQL Server use a 32-bit ODBC driver. I'm not sure but I think the last version of MS SQL Server to use a 16-bit ODBC driver was SQL Server 6.
