I agree. The lack of OOP features was simply killing Visual Basic when It came to rapidly developing LARGE database software solutions (reason why I only used it to write Tetris games and simulators at college.)
But Microsoft always seems to forget something. Now they give us OOP with VB.NET but they forgot (or maybe due to deadline issues) to include Integrated support for UML.
