>>>Hi Craig, old buddy, old pal!! (and other cheesy remarks to butter you up) ;)
>>>
>>>I posted a question sometime back looking for info or experience with these PVCS apps but got no response. We are evaluating the Tracker application to be implemeted as a Help Desk management tool. It's my hope then to eventually tie the task tables maintained by Tracker, into my Data Warehouse applications for report job scheduling and automation. I would really love to hear your thoughts, experiences, opinions, or any other sort of feedback you might have from implementing the PVCS apps at your site!!
>>>
>>>I'm especially interested in how complicated the configuration involved with setting up the apps initially was. I had figured we'd do it inhouse and work it out ourselves but your comment stating you had a consultant come in to do this now has me wondering.

>>The consultant was from Intersolv. I don't know how much it cost to bring him here, but I know it
>>wasn't cheap. I'm finishing the setup today and will keep you posted on how things go down the road.

We did close to the same thing. We don't archive the *.??k files. The way we did our archive suffixes
was to make the middle letter a v. We also didn't include things like the qpr, vue, etc. files, since we don't
use them.
