Thanks for your reply, however, I found the error. It had nothing to do with the ri triggers, although the ri triggers from a parent table fired the error. I just happened to look at the table structure of "inv" and found an index expression with "inv." as the prefix to one of the fields in "inv". How it got there, I'm not sure. But I removed it and the error went away.

I still don't know why the error happened when it did or why, but I'm not curious enough to investigate it further.
