Here is the problem:

Double-click on a grid cell which calls an edit method.
The edit method calls a maintenance form, then when returned updates the grid.
At this point it attempts to remove and add the grid columns back, all of which works fine except for the original cell that was double clicked on as there is still code executing from this control( the edit method)

How do I get around this?

I have tried a setfocus to separate control, that calls the edit routine from it's gotfocus but still have the same problem

Can I get this to work without using a timer?
