Honestly? I'd buy now- I just did after all! Prices are incredibly low... not long ago you'd be pleased to buy a dumb ethernet router for $100, now you get a smart wireless broadband DHCP NAT router.
The 11a/11b product is likely to come in at around the $500 mark, more expensive than buying a 11b router and a 11a access point.
