A happy new year to all

I've a problem with the grid. I want to show some data in a grid. The data is selected from a sql-statememt. In Recordsourcetype I can select SQL-Statemet and I've found that I have to put this statement in the Recordsource-Field. But how can I do this. Everytime I get Syntax error, but the SQL-Statement works well in another testform.
