With VFP 7 you can dock many windows in some really cool fashion.
For my part, I attach the command, docview, data and properties windows to the left side of the IDE. This use around 300 pixels wide. I stack 3 windows one over another and keep data and command always visible while propsheet and docview share the same space (swicthing by the tab).
I also dock the project window on the top toolbar.
This layout give me a clear desktop to work...
You have to play with the IDE to ajust it to your prefered layout. It take a couple of shot before being able to drop the window in the right place to acheive this...
