This is rather interesting since VB is also a single threaded runtime. I doubt that it has anything to do with that. It probably has something to do with callbacks being needed or with early binding. The callbacks can be handled according to an article I saw in either foxtalk or FPA some time back. But the early binding as far as I know has no workaround at this time (other than to create an active-x control in VB that uses the control and then using the VB control in VFP.
