Hi Ounis,

Check Microsoft Knowledge Base Article - Q200525

Towards the bottom there is a section "Can't Find Server Name when Starting Nslookup.exe"

"...This error occurs when there is no PTR record for the name server's IP address"

The KB points you to another article (Q172953) that might help you as well.

When I use the nslookup I am getting this message at the begining why?
> Can't find server name for address 172.20.1.4: Non-existent domain
> Default servers are not available
>default Server: UnKnown
>address: 172.20.1.4
>any help on this one
>regard and thank you
